This was the AHR3 Recognize the Scam Challenge. No real investment opportunity exists. No payment is required.

Eight cues were built into the dashboard you just saw.
Professional design
A polished dashboard costs a scammer almost nothing, but instantly buys your trust.
Plausible numbers
€87,642.19 and +1.49% feel real precisely because they are oddly specific.
The AI story
“Proprietary machine learning” explains impossible results without proving anything.
Attractive returns
4–6% per month is roughly 60–100% per year. No legitimate product promises that.
Authority & trust signals
Verified badges, account numbers, and a real TradingView chart borrow credibility.
Exclusivity
“Limited access” and “invitation only” make you feel chosen instead of targeted.
Urgency
“14 places remaining, closing this quarter” removes your time to think.
QR-code action
A QR code hides the destination and moves you to a phone, away from any safety checks.
Ranks & recruitment bonuses
Cars, villas and commissions for recruiting others are the signature of a pyramid scheme — payouts depend on new money, not real returns.
8 questions about the manipulation you just experienced. 0/8 answered.
1.The dashboard promised 4–6% return per month. Why is that a red flag?
2.The offer was framed as “limited access — 14 places remaining”. Which cue is this?
3.The site showed a real, working TradingView chart. What should you conclude?
4.Which of these details was specifically designed to make the numbers feel real?
5.The “AI Wealth Accelerator” cited proprietary machine learning. What is the manipulation?
6.Why did the confirmation ask you to scan a QR code instead of clicking a link?
7.The footer listed a Mauritius address, phone number and a corporate office photo. What is the lesson?
8.What is the correct first response to an offer like this?
Four steps, in order. Work through them every time an offer arrives unasked.
STEP 01
STOP
Pause before you click, scan or transfer anything.
STEP 02
CHECK
Verify the firm, the licence and the URL independently.
STEP 03
THINK
Ask who profits, and why they need you right now.
STEP 04
ACT
Report it, warn others, and send nothing under pressure.
Final step
Go back to the AHR3 session and share which cue fooled you first. Please do not forward this link outside the workshop.
